...it worked reliably from my Mac Mini (2010) to my iPad 2 without saying "you are not authorized to play this video" every other time, I would care.
Work perfect with both my appletv 2 and my Zeppelin Air and except for a stutter here or there for a second or two I have found the technology easy to use and stable. :) Over burden wifi.
I love to see more of this technology implemented, my nice ipad 1;) has apple lossless albums in it and the music coming out sound great. It still just wifi but been able to streem music to anywhere in the house by hooking up an apple airport is also nice.
Airport with bose speakers upstairs kitchen area :) would not have been possible or as easy as it was before airplay.
So apple go for it make our lives easier to enjoy.:D
Now if only apple made itunes run as a service I be double happy.

ipad is obviously the best tablet on the market, it's like reporting water is wet. I don't think iphone4 is the best phone on the market though, I've tried many of the latest and greatest including the ip4 and they're all equally great in their own ways.

it is strange that they added a fourth band (VIII - 900 frequency) which is for more of europe, asia and also vodaNZ but doesn't open up anything in the US... even stranger is that i was just in NZ and my 3G[S] (which doesn't support VIII / 900 apparently) was on the vodaNZ 3G network the whole time. anyone with knowledge of this whole UMTS / HSDPA band and frequency thing, please tell me how this worked then?

The last time I had surgery (January 2, 1986) I was knocked out via IV.
As for what it felt like...
They had put the IV in before I had gone into surgery, and it really wasn't that bad. When the doctor and his assistant showed up the anesthesiologist let me know that it was time.
He ask me to start counting backwards from 100. I felt a warm sensation moving up my arm from the IV and then into my chest. A moment later I felt like I was walking out of a fog... but I wasn't, I was lying in recovery... and I got sick.
It took a few minutes to finally become completely cognizant of my surroundings, but all and all it wasn't a bad experience. The time for the surgery was completely gone (as if it hadn't happened). It felt like (going from fully awake before the surgery back to fully awake again after) it had only taken a couple minutes (the surgery was about 4 hours as I recall).
As for what it felt like...

The 3D is generated on the phone. The map data itself really shouldn't be any different at all. Right?
I'd say your 500MB data allowance on O2 would be churned up in no time.
This should be exactly the same as using the Apple maps app in terms of bandwidth. Are people really killing their data plans using Google maps?

Can't believe aperture doesn't support more RAW types yet.
Until it supports more/all of the raw types, it will never be a real 'pro' application imho
Which cameras in particular. It already supports all the serious Pro cameras if you ignore the very recently announced Canon and Nikon amature DSLRs.

I too will be swapping out my US made foreign car for an "American" car, but anymore, I'm not sure what that means.
IMO, a car built in America is an American made car, that's what it means. A Ford Fiesta, built in Mexico, is no more of an American car than my VW built in Germany and definitely less of an American car than a Honda Civic built in Indiana.

I know this is is a prototype so I'm now worried about this nonsense, but it does bring up an important issue.
The button on the iOS devices has never been updated or improved.
Its too small, it is easily damaged, and the clicking action is pretty weak.
There is a lot of room for improvement

The 320M is CUDA-capable. Intel is still evaluating OpenCL.
OpenCL was designed so software could use the processing power of the graphics card/chip to aid the CPU to perform calculations in a way that is not dependent on sending the results to video. In gaming, however, the CPU is enough to run the back-end of the game and the GPU is mainly used to display the image rather than help the CPU in processing the game's engine. Hence OpenCL should not make that much different (perhaps a few FPS but not so much as to make the 3000 better than the 320).
Is OpenCL akin to NVIDIA's PhysX as well as their CUDA? If so then perhaps it can help with the physics engines in some high end games (GTA IV etc comes to mind) I guess?
