Hi,
I got my PERM labor approved yesterday, for applying I-140 were can I find the processing dates for I-140? I mean specific to Country? Because, if I go to https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter=NSC the processing time for "Skilled worker or professional" is April, 1 2008, does this date apply for all? I have filed a 485 since i married a citizen. I have had my interview with the immigration officer, since my application is 2 years old (do to the excesive moving ive done) she asks me for another medical and a co-sponsor. Medical is no problem, but i cannot produce a co-sponsor. i need a co-sponsor because my wife has 5 kids from a previous marriage, and the household income does not meet that of the guidelines. We do not have any relatives or friends that can help. I have to submit this information by Jan 21 2009.
What are my alternatives?

Entered into USA on H1: 06/2001
Change of Status to F1: 12/2001
Change of Status to H1: 10/2004

Labor Filed Substitution: 07/2007
Appeal: 11/2009 in process

I calculated my time in USA excluding time spent outside the country and my 6 years will end in June 2010. When my employer renewed H1 back in 2008 he simply claimed for 3 years and USCIS approved till 03/2011. But I read somewhere online that we have to calculate our time spent in the country and should not go by the date that is on our H1.

1. Does the change of status from H1 to F1 reset the H1 time period or do we have to consider that time period while calculating the 6 years
2. As my application (AAO) is pending I heard I will get a one year extension. The question I have is can I stay on my current H1 till 03/2011 or do I have to renew my H1?

Rescheduling your FP can delay your background check etc., and can complicate your GC approval timeframe. Its better not to reschedule and stick to the appointment unless their is an emergency.

AFAIK, their is no limit on the number of times you can reschedule though, but its advisable not to reschedule for the reasons mentioned earlier..

Hi,

I have filed my H1 (premium processing)on 26th Sep and till now I didn't receive my H1 receipt.

What could be the reasons and how i Can track about my case.

Can I track my case? is there some number where i can call discuss about my case why I didn't receive my receipt

My Lawyer called the USCIS and they are saying that they are not able to generate the receipt number?

Is somebody else faced the same issue? what could be done now?
