I've had anesthesia many times (too many times) four or five times via IV and once or twice with gas for various surgical operations. (Yeah, my health sucks.) I've never had any problems from the anesthesia though. You'll wake up very dry, your mouth will feel like a desert, but that's about the worst of it. I would imagine the pain you'll have from your back will probably be your main concern.
Depending on the operation being performed you might be out of it for several hours. I know for a couple of surgeries I had on my lungs - they were done in the morning and I didn't wake up until evening.

Cool. Some people say it's fake but I know for a fact that it is legit unless someone photoshopped the Banner in... but it looks very Apple so all it is is another reason to get stoked :)

most places around my area are right about $3.95/gal. for 87 Octane, unless it is BP/Arco which will be a few cents cheaper typically.

why do we (or some of us) want a entire case redesign for MBP... i mean, i can understand the logic behind easily accessible harddrive.. and if i push it, maybe the magnetic latch, but the entire case redesign? what's wrong with the current case? i think most people think the case looks nice...
only the macbook has been redesigned in the intel transition process.. but thats because ibook hasn't gotten a case redesign since ibook g3, no? and plus, it's not even THAT much of a redesign.. and aside from that, mini stayed the same, imac, mac pro all stayed the same (and imac already had a 2nd revision..) i don't see apple redesign it either

The Pentium5 is to the Pentium4 what the Pentium3 was to the Pentium2. It is not a new core. It sports a few new bells and whistles, twice the L2, the potential for a faster FSB, but it is still essentially the same chip as before.
This is not to say that the G4 will be able to keep up, or anything. :)
2 to 3 weeks till the dual 1.25's ship, and I'm still really temped to get one.

I agree with some previous posts but I'll expand upon them...
If Apple infringed, they should pay, but the better alternative would be to buy Kodak, slowly shut them down (they're already slowly shutting down), then make RIM pay Apple! HAHA!
And in the process, Apple gets tons of patents, plus they can once again sell Apple branded printers and digital cameras again, something they haven't done for quite some time. The original Apple digital cameras were made by Kodak anyway. Then Apple could drop some other brands from Apple Stores and keep almost the entire purchase an all-Apple purchase.

don't take this the wrong way, but these "biggots" you speak of are a lot like the born-again christians that corner you at the coffee machine trying to get you to go to church with them. (in fact, i even remember a mac fac site called "evangelista"!) macs offer simplicity, stability, and peace of mind--we do not have to travel through the blue screen of death, because the mac is with us! most of us, at one time, were just like you, using those evil windoze machines. but now "we have seen the light!" and can't possibly imagine how you could continue in your suffering. you don't know the peace you could have if you just gave the mac a chance. do you see the metaphor here?
and one thing many windoze people say is, "if macs are so much better, why only 5% market share?" well, christianity started with less market share than that, and it is certainly better than baal or ishtar, just to name a few!

Yeah, only a couple 1000 25MB pictures would fit on a Ipad 64GB, not near enough. :rolleyes:
Well lets see by my current usage that is 2 weekends worth of shots since i fill up 4 8GB cards. And who would imagine i would want access to all of my pictures or at least a months worth at a time and other things like apps, music and videos. :rolleyes:

Get rid of the red background color! A lot of widgets use red, at least the ones I have (same for blue). Use as a background your avatar, that would be cool, with the same red letters of the lines!
